Case Study
Public sector · Canadian startup network
Service
Role
Startup Ecosystem Canada exists to connect governments, funding organisations, founders, solution providers, media, and talent. The public site had to make that network feel clear. The harder job was keeping Canadian audiences informed with relevant startup news, not a scatter of manual links.
We delivered website design, SEO, GEO marketing, and an AI news aggregation system so the organization can surface timely Canadian stories to Canadians. We did not run paid ads, social media, or creative branding on this engagement.
We created an AI news aggregation system so Startup Ecosystem Canada can gather and organize relevant startup and innovation coverage, then get that news in front of Canadians. Instead of chasing sources by hand, the platform can prioritize Canadian ecosystem stories for people who need them: founders, funders, partners, and public readers.
Aggregation is not a dump of headlines. We shaped flows around relevance to the Canadian startup landscape so the news layer supports the same stakeholder mission as the rest of the site.
We structured the experience around how people enter the network: Home, Events, Network, Partners, and Resources, with Join Us Now as the clear path to participate. The centerpiece diagram shows who belongs in the circle: Governments, Funding Organisations, Founders, Solution Providers, Media and Press, and Talent.
Primary actions stay obvious. Secondary paths open resources and connections without turning a national network into a dense directory on first load.
Sans display / UI
On the website build, we kept the interface disciplined: white space, black type, and a Canadian red accent for Home, Join Us, and the maple mark. The goal was readability and trust for a public-sector network site, not a separate creative branding engagement.
We shaped SEO around how people search for Canadian startup networks, partners, events, and resources. Structure and copy stay plain enough for search engines and for a founder scanning on a phone between meetings.
GEO marketing prepared the same ideas for generative engines: clear, quotable statements about who Startup Ecosystem Canada connects and why the news layer matters for Canadian audiences. Responsive layouts keep Join Us and navigation usable on every device.
