Godwin Chan Regional Councillor 2022 campaign website

A Regional Councillor campaign built to be found, understood, and acted on.

In October 2022, Godwin Chan ran for Regional Councillor. The election window was short. Residents needed to recognize the name, grasp the platform, and know exactly how to help before voting closed on October 24.

We delivered paid ads, website design, and SEO as one system. Ads created timely reach. The website carried credibility and conversion. SEO made organic searches for the candidate and community issues land on pages that answered questions and invited lawn signs, volunteering, and donations.

Godwin Chan campaign hero with Regional Councillor branding

Website UX shaped around voter decisions

We structured the site around the questions residents ask late in a race: who is Godwin, what has he done, what does he commit to, and how do I help. Navigation stayed simple: Meet Godwin, Endorsements, Achievements, Commitments, and Take Action.

The hero led with name recognition and the office sought. The line “Make Community Safer & Stronger” sat directly under the brand block so the message was impossible to miss. Below that, Get Involved offered three equal actions: Lawn Sign, Volunteer, and Donate, so paid traffic and organic visitors always had a clear next step.

A visual language built for name recognition

We used a forest green field for authority, crimson accents for urgency and the ELECT cue, and deep navy for supporting type. High-contrast photography of community connection reinforced trust without cluttering the first screen. The result felt civic and personal at once: strong enough for public office, warm enough for neighbourhood doors.

Paid ads that sent people somewhere ready to convert

We ran paid ads to put Godwin in front of the right residents during the election window, then routed that attention into the website funnels we designed. Creative stayed consistent with the site: name first, office clear, message short, action obvious.

Each ad path had a job: awareness for name recognition, consideration for platform and endorsements, and conversion for lawn signs, volunteers, and donations. That kept spend tied to campaign outcomes instead of vanity clicks.

Campaign display / Body

SEO so searchers met a credible campaign, not a dead end

We shaped page titles, headings, and content around how residents actually search: candidate name, Regional Councillor, and community priorities tied to the safer and stronger message. Structure made endorsements, achievements, and commitments easy for search engines to understand and for voters to scan on a phone between errands.

Layouts stayed fully responsive so door-knocking referrals, social shares, and last-minute research all landed on the same clear experience, whether someone arrived from a paid placement or an organic result.
